'><section class=\"av_textblock_section \"  itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/CreativeWork\" ><div class='avia_textblock  '  style='font-size:16px; '  itemprop=\"text\" ><p>I am a luthier and musician living in the beautiful Rocky Mountains of Colorado.\u00a0 I have been passionate about woodworking and playing guitar since I was in my teens.\u00a0 Over the past 30 years, I spent much of my free time picking guitar and crafting wood furniture and fine gifts for family and friends.\u00a0 These passions came together after reading the book <em>Clapton\u2019s Guitar<\/em>, about famous Virginia-based luthier Wayne Henderson building a guitar for Eric Clapton. \u00a0My good fortune and fate led me to meet Wayne on several occasions thereafter.\u00a0 Since reading that book, I have studied in-depth the art of luthierie, and his legendary work has inspired me to build fine, heirloom-quality guitars that look, play and sound amazing.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=gG8afHIy6AQ&amp;autoplay=1\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-643 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/osheaguitars.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/guitarvideo.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"663\" height=\"368\" srcset=\"http:\/\/osheaguitars.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/guitarvideo.jpg 663w, http:\/\/osheaguitars.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/guitarvideo-300x167.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 663px) 100vw, 663px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>My heart and soul goes into every guitar I build, down to the stunning, one-of-a-kind pickguards I create here in my shop.\u00a0 Only top-quality materials go into my guitars, and they are built with the finest craftsmanship and attention to detail. \u00a0When I step into my shop, it\u2019s focus time and time just seems to disappear.\u00a0 (Just ask my wife!)<\/p>\n<p>In addition to building fine guitars, I offer repair and service of guitars.\u00a0 I also enjoy bringing back to life old, vintage instruments, which I occasionally offer for sale. \u00a0Each guitar is professionally set up to play and sound impeccable before leaving the shop.<\/p>\n<p>My gallery shows some of my guitars, past and present, that I have built and worked on, along with a few shots of great moments I have experienced throughout my journey. Throughout each build, I capture the process in pictures so you have the birth and development of your instrument. Second to playing it, there is no better way to share your guitar than with photos of it coming to life.<\/p>\n<p>Standard and custom guitars are available with your choice of wood, inlay, etc.\u00a0 Each guitar I build is made to be loved, cherished and, of course, passed down through generations. \u00a0There are no factory assembly lines here. \u00a0It\u2019s just one small shop, one luthier,
